This is my first ever big project of 2019 and being able to work with Scanteak for this project is a big collaboration and opportunity for me to strive my creative ideas even further. We had to make home products for the public to use on a daily basis, entirely out of cardboard. something used on a daily basis? I instantly thought of a storage box. I targeted my audience to younger children to store their toys in it. With inspiration from :Pirates of the Caribbean", I designed a simple treasure chest for kids to easily identify my product and to evoke excitement and creative thinking by imagining themselves as pirates and their toys as gold/treasure, making them want to clean up after playing with their toys. I call this :...and inside be the gold".
